  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed Ensure fully thawed before using.
  • 1 whole wheel of Brie
  • 2-3 Plums, halved and pitted
  • to taste Fresh thyme
  • optional Honey or brown sugar For added sweetness.
  • 1 Egg wash For brushing the pastry.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
  3. Place the Brie in the center of the pastry.
  4. Arrange the halved plums around the Brie and sprinkle with fresh thyme.
  5. Drizzle with honey or brown sugar if desired.
  6. Fold the pastry over the Brie and plums, sealing the edges.
  7. Brush the pastry with egg wash for a golden finish.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
  2. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm.
