Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly oil a baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and arrange them skin-side down in the baking dish. Drizzle olive oil over the fillets and sprinkle with salt, pepper, minced garlic, and lemon zest.
- Distribute chunks of Boursin cheese evenly over each salmon fillet.
Baking
- Place the dish in the oven and bake for 15 to 18 minutes, until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Optional: Turn on the broiler for the last 1 to 2 minutes for a golden top.
Serving
- Once out of the oven, squeeze fresh lemon juice on top, sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired, and serve immediately.
