A quick and elegant dish with salmon fillets drizzled with olive oil and topped with rich Boursin cheese, perfect for weeknights or special occasions.

Main Ingredients
  • 4 fillets salmon fillets (6 oz each) Skin-side down in the baking dish.
  • 1 package Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese (5.2 oz) Broken into chunks to distribute over salmon.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil For drizzling over salmon.
  • 1 clove garlic, minced Adds flavor to the salmon.
  • ½ lemon Zest and juice Adds brightness to the dish.
  • to taste Salt and black pepper For seasoning.
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional) For garnish.
  • as needed Cherry tomatoes or asparagus (optional, for roasting alongside) Can be included as a side.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly oil a baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and arrange them skin-side down in the baking dish. Drizzle olive oil over the fillets and sprinkle with salt, pepper, minced garlic, and lemon zest.
  3. Distribute chunks of Boursin cheese evenly over each salmon fillet.
Baking
  1. Place the dish in the oven and bake for 15 to 18 minutes, until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Optional: Turn on the broiler for the last 1 to 2 minutes for a golden top.
Serving
  1. Once out of the oven, squeeze fresh lemon juice on top, sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Gently warm when reheating to preserve moisture.
