- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray an 8x8 baking dish with non-stick spray.
- In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients except for the apples. Stir well to combine.
- Fold in the chopped apples.
- Spread the mixture into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30 minutes or until a knife comes out mostly clean with just a few moist crumbs.
- Spoon the baked oatmeal into bowls and serve with a pat of butter and a drizzle of maple syrup, if desired.
Notes
This Baked Apple Oatmeal can be easily customized with your favorite toppings such as nuts, dried fruits, or a dollop of yogurt. Feel free to adjust the sweetness level by adding more or less brown sugar according to your taste preferences.
