  • 1 cup granulated sugar Reduce for a healthier version.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • to taste powdered sugar For dusting before serving.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Whisk them together well.
  3. Add the melted butter and milk to the dry ingredients. Stir until a sticky dough forms.
  4. Gently fold in the diced apples, ensuring they are evenly distributed in the dough.
  5. Scoop the dough onto a greased baking sheet, leaving space between each fritter.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the fritters are golden brown.
  2. Let them cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar.
  3. For an extra treat, serve with caramel sauce or whipped cream if desired.
