Method
Baking the Cake
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Lightly spray your baking dish with non-stick baking spray.
- Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to the instructions on the package.
- Pour the cake batter into your prepared pan evenly.
- Bake for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool for a bit, then poke holes all over the top with a fork.
Frosting the Cake
- For the frosting, combine butter, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, 1/4 cup Baileys, vanilla, and salt; beat until creamy.
- Frost the cooled cake generously and serve.
