  • 2 cups cooked white rice Use leftover rice if available.
  • 1 lb ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey or chicken for a healthier version.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • to taste Salt & pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to use different types of cheese.
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
Optional Garnishes
  • chopped pickles For garnish.
  • green onions For garnish.

Method
 

Cooking
  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, combine the cooked rice and beef mixture.
  4. Top with shredded cheddar cheese, diced tomato, and crumbled bacon.
  5. Garnish with pickles or green onions if desired. Serve warm.

Notes
