- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Drain the excess fat.
- Divide the cooked rice between serving bowls.
- Spoon the cooked beef over the rice. Sprinkle with diced tomato and cover with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Microwave the bowls for about 30 seconds, or until the cheese melts (or you can broil them briefly).
- Finish with crumbled bacon and any optional toppings. Serve hot!
