Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • to taste Salt & pepper Add according to preference
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 cup cooked, crumbled bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 sticks mozzarella sticks Cut in half
  • 1 cup flour For dredging
  • 2 eggs, beaten For coating
  • 1 1/2 cups seasoned breadcrumbs For coating
  • Oil for frying
  • Marinara or burger sauce for dipping
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a skillet, cook beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until browned. Drain excess grease.
  2. Let cool slightly, then mix in crumbled bacon and cheddar.
  3. Cut mozzarella sticks in half. Flatten a spoonful of beef mixture, place a mozzarella half in the center, and mold beef around it completely.
  4. Dredge each bomb in flour, dip in egg, then roll in breadcrumbs. Repeat for a second coating.
  5. Freeze for 20–30 minutes to help hold shape.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a deep fryer or skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry bombs until golden brown and crispy (about 3–4 mins).
Serving
  1. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce and garnish with parsley.

Notes
