Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 cup cooked, crumbled bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 sticks mozzarella cut in half

Coating

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups seasoned breadcrumbs

For Serving

  • Marinara or burger sauce for dipping
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a skillet, cook beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until browned. Drain excess grease.
  • Let cool slightly, then mix in crumbled bacon and cheddar.
  • Cut mozzarella sticks in half.
  • Flatten a spoonful of beef mixture, place a mozzarella half in the center, and mold beef around it completely.

Coating and Freezing

  • Dredge each bomb in flour, dip in egg, then roll in breadcrumbs. Repeat for a second coating.
  • Freeze for 20–30 minutes to help hold shape.

Frying

  • Heat oil in a deep fryer or skillet to 350°F (175°C).
  • Fry bombs until golden brown and crispy (about 3–4 mins).

Serving

  • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce and garnish with parsley.

Notes

Make sure to fully cool the beef mixture before adding the cheese to help the cheese melt perfectly. Adjust the spices to your taste and feel free to experiment with different cheeses for a unique flavor.
