Ingredients

  • - 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • - 1/2 cup grated Asiago cheese
  • - 1/2 cup light mayonnaise
  • - 1/4 cup low-fat plain Greek yogurt
  • - 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • - 1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • - 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • - Pinch of ground nutmeg
  • - Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • - 1 tablespoon aged balsamic vinegar
  • - 2 tablespoons grated Asiago cheese

Equipment

  • Baking Dish

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Place chicken breasts in the prepared dish. In a small bowl, whisk together Asiago cheese, mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, wine, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, and nutmeg. Pour mixture evenly over chicken.
  3. Bake, uncovered, for 40-50 minutes until chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/74°C). Sprinkle with black pepper, drizzle with balsamic vinegar, and sprinkle additional Asiago cheese before serving.

Notes

- Substitute Asiago cheese with Parmesan or Romano for variation.
- Ensure chicken breasts are evenly coated with the sauce for maximum flavor.
- Serve with a side of roasted vegetables or salad for a complete meal.
