Preparation
- In a medium bowl, mix together the oats, all-purpose flour, almond flour, light brown sugar, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and salt.
- Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Set aside.
Spiced Apples
- Peel, core, and slice the apples.
- In a large bowl, toss the apple slices with light brown sugar, granulated sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, allspice, salt, and nutmeg.
Assembly
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a greased baking dish, layer the spiced apples, then evenly sprinkle the crumble topping over the apples.
- Bake for around 45 minutes, or until the apples are bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
