Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
- Slice the apples very thin and place them in a bowl with lemon juice and water. Microwave for 2 minutes to soften.
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry and cut it into 6 strips.
Assembly
- Brush each strip with melted butter and sprinkle it with cinnamon sugar.
- Place overlapping apple slices along one side of each strip.
- Fold the pastry over the bottom edge and roll each strip into a rose shape.
- Place the rolled pastries into the muffin tin.
Baking
- Bake for 35–40 minutes until the pastry is golden.
- Optional: Brush the tops with apricot jam for a shiny finish, and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
