  • 6 cups cinnamon bread, cubed You can substitute with any bread like French bread or brioche.
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sugar Natural sweeteners can be used as a substitute.
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
  • Butter for greasing the dish

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until fully combined.
  3. Add the cubed cinnamon bread, chopped apples, and raisins if desired. Gently fold the mixture until the bread is thoroughly soaked.
  4. Pour the mixture into your greased baking dish.
  5. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the pudding has set.
  6. Let it cool slightly before serving.
