Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- Peel and dice the apples and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In a larger bowl, beat the softened butter with granulated sugar until light and airy.
- Add the eggs one at a time to the butter-sugar mixture, then gradually mix in the milk and vanilla, scraping down the sides for consistency.
Mixing
- Slowly blend the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan, sprinkle with half of the diced apples and cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Layer the remaining batter on top, followed by the remaining apples and cinnamon-sugar.
Baking
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
Glazing
- For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Drizzle over the cooled loaf, slice, and serve.

Notes
