Ingredients
  

For the Bread
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk Can use almond milk for dairy-free option.
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted Ensure to melt the butter before use.
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups peeled and diced apples Granny Smith or Honeycrisp recommended.
For the Cinnamon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
For Drizzling
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar For drizzling on top before serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon. Set it aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, mix the milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently stir until just combined. Carefully fold in the diced apples.
Assembly
  1. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
  2. Pour the remaining batter into the pan, then add the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture. Use a knife or skewer to swirl.
Baking
  1. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center.
  2. Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  3. Drizzle with powdered sugar once cooled for an extra sweet finish!
