Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon. Set it aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- In another bowl, mix the milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently stir until just combined. Carefully fold in the diced apples.
Assembly
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
- Pour the remaining batter into the pan, then add the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture. Use a knife or skewer to swirl.
Baking
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center.
- Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Drizzle with powdered sugar once cooled for an extra sweet finish!
