Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups peeled and diced apples Use firm apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp.
Glaze
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk Adjust for desired consistency.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine sugar, melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the diced apples.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Baking
  1. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cooling and Glazing
  1. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  2. To make the glaze, mix powdered sugar with milk until smooth and drizzle over the cooled bread.
  3. Slice and enjoy!
