Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb large sea scallops Choose fresh scallops for the best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter Coconut oil can also be used for a different flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley Optional for serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rinse the scallops under cold water. Pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a mixing bowl, toss the scallops with olive oil (or melted butter), garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper, ensuring each scallop is evenly coated.
Air Frying
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Arrange the scallops in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don’t touch each other.
  3. Cook the scallops for 6-8 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown on the outside and opaque in the center.
Serving
  1. Carefully remove the scallops from the air fryer and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
  2. Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes or as part of a seafood platter.

Notes
