Ingredients

For the lobster
  • 4 pieces lobster tails (6-8 oz each)
For the garlic butter mixture
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted Feel free to swap with flavored butter.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped Feel free to substitute with dill.
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
For serving
  • Lemon wedges For serving alongside the lobster tails.

Method

Preparation
  1. Using kitchen shears, cut the top of the shell lengthwise down the middle, stopping at the base of the tail for easy access.
  2. Gently lift the meat from the shell, but keep the bottom of the shell intact. Place the meat on top of the shell for presentation.
Make the garlic butter
  1. In a small bowl, blend melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, lemon zest, sea salt, and black pepper until well mixed.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  2. Generously apply the garlic butter mixture over the exposed lobster meat.
  3. Place the lobster tails in the air fryer basket, ensuring there's space between each tail for even cooking.
  4. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and reaches an internal temperature of 140-145°F.
  5. Let them rest for 2-3 minutes afterward to lock in moisture.
