Method
Preparation
- Using kitchen shears, cut the top of the shell lengthwise down the middle, stopping at the base of the tail for easy access.
- Gently lift the meat from the shell, but keep the bottom of the shell intact. Place the meat on top of the shell for presentation.
Make the garlic butter
- In a small bowl, blend melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, lemon zest, sea salt, and black pepper until well mixed.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
- Generously apply the garlic butter mixture over the exposed lobster meat.
- Place the lobster tails in the air fryer basket, ensuring there's space between each tail for even cooking.
- Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and reaches an internal temperature of 140-145°F.
- Let them rest for 2-3 minutes afterward to lock in moisture.
Notes
Best served with garlic bread, a fresh salad, or creamy risotto. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days.
