Dry Rub Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder more if you like spicy
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons liquid smoke fantastic on ribs!

Main Ingredient

  • 1 rack baby back ribs

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, mix your spices, liquid smoke, and olive oil.
  • Rub it all over the ribs, covering them well.
  • Cut the ribs to fit your air fryer, if necessary.

Cooking

  • Place the ribs into the air fryer.
  • Set the temperature to 400 degrees F (air fryer setting) and cook for 20 minutes.
  • After 20 minutes, use a meat thermometer to check if the ribs are fully cooked. If not, add a few more minutes until the internal temperature shows they are done.
  • Plate, serve, and enjoy! (Optional: Brush with BBQ sauce and broil for a few minutes to set the glaze.)

Notes

Make sure to evenly coat the ribs with the spice mixture for full flavor. Let the ribs rest for a few minutes after cooking for extra tenderness.
