Ingredients
Method
Preparation
- Pat the cod fillets dry with a paper towel to help the coating stick better.
- In a shallow bowl, whisk the eggs and set aside.
- On a plate, combine the flour and spices (salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika).
Dredging
- Take a fillet, dredge it in the flour mixture, then dip it into the whisked egg, allowing excess to drip off.
- Coat the fillet in panko breadcrumbs until fully covered.
Cooking
- Spray the breaded fish lightly with oil spray.
- Place a few pieces in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
- Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Check that the fish is golden brown and flakes easily with a fork, spraying more oil if needed for extra crunch.
Serving
- Carefully remove the fish from the air fryer and serve with lemon wedges and a side of tartar sauce.

Notes
