  • 6 pieces chicken wings, split into flats and drumettes
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder Helps make the wings crispy
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/8 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • as needed spray Avocado oil spray Lightly spray to prevent sticking

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels, then place them in a medium bowl.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the baking powder and all the spices for the dry rub.
  • Set the air fryer to 390°F and let it preheat for 2–5 minutes.
  • Sprinkle the seasoning over the wings and toss until evenly coated.
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with the oil spray to prevent sticking. Arrange the wings in a single layer with space between them.

Cooking

  • Air fry the wings for 18–20 minutes, flipping them after 10 minutes. Cook for another 8–10 minutes until golden and crispy.

Serving

  • Serve the crispy wings hot out of the air fryer with your favorite dipping sauces like ranch, blue cheese, or barbecue sauce. Add some celery or carrot sticks on the side.

Notes

Make sure the wings are dry before applying seasoning for better crispiness. Experiment with spices to create your own flavor combinations.
