Preparation
  1. Pat the thighs dry with paper towels to promote browning.
  2. In a bowl, combine salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Sprinkle evenly over the thighs.
  3. Drizzle olive oil and lime juice over the chicken and toss to coat.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (204°C) for 3 minutes if your model suggests preheating.
  2. Arrange the thighs in a single layer in the basket with a little space between pieces.
  3. Air fry at 400°F for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  4. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Serving
  1. Let the thighs rest for 3–5 minutes before slicing to retain juices.
