Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 1 lb skinless boneless chicken thighs Trim excess fat if you prefer.
  • 1 tsp salt Adjust to taste; kosher salt measures differently than table salt.
  • 1 tsp freshly cracked black pepper Adds a fresh bite.
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning A dried herb blend (basil, oregano, thyme).
  • 1 tbsp olive oil Helps the seasoning stick and keeps meat moist.
  • 1 tbsp lime juice Brightens flavor and adds a light tang.

Method

Preparation
  1. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels to help the seasoning stick and promote better browning.
  2. In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Add the thighs and toss until fully coated. Let rest 5–10 minutes at room temperature to marinate briefly.
Cooking method

  2. Place thighs in a single layer in the basket with space between pieces.
  3. Cook at 400°F for 10–12 minutes, flipping once halfway through.
  4. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Serving
  1. Remove thighs and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  2. Slice or serve whole. Squeeze an extra touch of lime if desired.
