  • 4 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts (6 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons butter or olive oil Use olive oil for a lighter option.
Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley For garnishing.
Miscellaneous
  • as needed cooking spray For greasing the air fryer.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat the air fryer to 360 degrees F.
  2. Brush the butter or olive oil all over both sides of the chicken breasts.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, salt, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  4. Rub the spice mixture all over both sides of the chicken.
Cooking
  1. Place the chicken in a single layer in the air fryer.
  2. Cook for 18 minutes, flipping the chicken halfway through. Make sure a thermometer shows at least 165 degrees F.
  3. Let the chicken stand for 5 minutes, then sprinkle with parsley and serve.

Notes
