Chicken Wings
  • 1 pound 1 pound (480 g) chicken wings
Coating
  • 3 tablespoons 3 tablespoons vegetable oil Ensure wings are well coated.
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup all-purpose flour Can be substituted with a gluten-free flour.
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon crushed peppercorn

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, place your chicken wings. Drizzle the vegetable oil over the top and toss well to ensure they’re evenly coated. Set the bowl aside.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, smoked paprika, garlic powder, kosher salt, and crushed peppercorn. Give it a good mix.
  3. Take each oiled chicken wing and dip it into the flour mixture until completely coated. Once done, lay the wings in a single layer in your air fryer basket.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Once preheated, cook the chicken wings for about 20 minutes, flipping them halfway through. Ensure they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (82°C) with a meat thermometer.
