Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Scrub the potatoes under cold water and dry them.
  • Rub each potato with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching.
  • Cook for 35-40 minutes, turning halfway through, until the skin is crispy and a fork goes in easily.
  • Remove from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

You can top baked potatoes with butter, sour cream, cheese, chives, or bacon bits. They pair well with grilled meats and salads. Leftovers should cool completely before storing in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
