Ingredients
  

Dip Base
  • 16 ounces refried beans Base layer
  • 1 lb. ground beef Cooked and seasoned
Creamy Layer
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened) Ensure it's softened for easier mixing
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons milk For mixing
Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning For seasoning the beef
Toppings
  • 1 cup prepared guacamole
  • 1 1/4 cups salsa Drained before using
  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 2 slices green onions Sliced for topping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Begin by placing the salsa in a sieve to drain any excess liquid.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain any excess fat and stir in the taco seasoning.
  3. Spread the refried beans evenly at the bottom of a 9x13 pan.
  4. Layer the seasoned taco meat evenly over the refried beans.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the taco meat.
  7. Mix the sliced green onions into the guacamole and spread it over the cream cheese layer.
  8. Layer the drained salsa over the guacamole.
  9. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the salsa, followed by the sliced black olives.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving.
