Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup sugar-free applesauce
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 3 mashed overripe bananas
  • 3/4 cup honey

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  • Step 2: In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Step 3: In a separate bowl, mix together the applesauce and honey. Then, stir in the eggs and the mashed bananas until the mixture is well blended.
  • Step 4: Stir the banana mixture into the flour mixture, making sure to stir only until everything is moistened.
  • Step 5: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Step 6: Bake in the preheated oven for 60 to 65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
