Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs cubed beef stew meat
  • 1 packet Dry Onion Soup Mix
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup although Cream of anything will work
  • 1 14 oz. can beef broth or stock
  • 1 can Mushrooms drained
  • Salt & Pepper

Instructions

  • Place the beef cubes into the Crockpot and season them with salt and pepper.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the dry onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, and mushrooms. Stir the ingredients together until well combined.
  • Pour the mixed soup mixture over the seasoned beef in the Crockpot.
  • Stir everything to combine.
  • Cook the mixture on the low setting of the Crockpot for 6-8 hours, allowing the flavors to meld and the beef to become tender.
  • Serve the beef and sauce over your choice of egg noodles or rice.
