The Incredibly Easy Method That Allows Me To Clean My Fridge in 3 Minutes

Minute 1: Empty

You’ll start by emptying out your fridge. Keep a trash bag close. Anything that isn’t good anymore can go straight into the trash. Fresh, shelf-stable vegetables and refrigerated foods that stay good for a long time will be set aside. You can put them on the counter or in a crate or box and put them aside. The point here is to not overthink things. Doubting whether or not you’ll end up using the green beans that are almost expired today or tomorrow? There’s a good chance they’ll end up rotting away in your fridge. Throw them out!

Minute 2: Throw it out

Can you get to your trash bin within 30 seconds? Then take out your trash immediately. Flush liquids (old milk, leftover soup from last week) down the toilet. Just make sure you don’t clog the drains in doing so – your fridge may be clean, but you’ll have a much bigger problem on your hands.

Minute 3: Wipe down and organize

Have some warm, soapy water ready to go and use an old cloth to clean your fridge. Wipe down all the glass and don’t forget the edges and corners. It doesn’t have to take a long time as long as you do it regularly. By taking 3 minutes, once a week, for this quick and easy process, your fridge will stay clean. This will keep you from having to scrub for hours on end. Lots of time and energy saved.
