INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 lbs. Apple (I used to use Fuji)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 cup water

INSTRUCTIONS:

Step 1: Prepare the Apples

  1. Slice and cut up the apples. You can use an apple slicer to make this process faster and more efficient.

Step 2: Add Spices and Water

  1. Place the sliced apples in the bowl of your slow cooker.
  2. Add cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and water to the sliced apples.

Step 3: Slow Cook the Apples

  1. Cover the slow cooker and set it to simmer.
  2. Let the apples simmer for about 6 hours until they become soft enough to crumble with a fork. If you’re using a VitaClay, this process will take only 2 hours.

Step 4: Serve

  1. Once the spiced apples are soft and cooked to your desired consistency, you can serve them as a delightful dessert, side dish, or topping for various dishes.
