Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Lean Ground Beef
  • 1/2 cup Onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Red Bell Peppers, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Green Bell Peppers, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic Salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon Dry Mustard
  • 1/2 cup prepared Cheese Sauce see recipe under, “Sauces”
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese or use your favorite cheese
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Onion Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 4-6 Large Flour Tortillas, Wheat can be substituted

Instructions

  • Mix ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic salt, and dry mustard.
  • Over medium-high heat, brown the seasoned ground beef for about 6-8 minutes.
  • Add onion, red & green bell peppers, and continue cooking for an additional 2 minutes until vegetables are soft. Keep warm.
  • In a separate bowl, mix ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, salt, onion powder, and pepper. Blend well. Pour over beef, keep warm.
  • Using large flour tortillas, add mixture to the center. Add cheese sauce on top of the beef mixture. Top with shredded cheese. Fold over into a burrito.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, fry the burritos with oil for 1 minute per side until golden brown.
  • Serve hot.
