Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs sausage kielbasa or smoke sausage sliced 1/4″ thick
- 2 lbs baby creamer potatoes washed, sliced in half
- 2 15 oz cans green beans drained
- 1/8 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup onions chopped
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tsp Slap Ya Mama® seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees and generously grease a 9x13 baking dish with non-stick spray.
- Start by washing the creamer potatoes, cutting them in half, and placing them in a sealable gallon-size plastic bag.
- Into the same bag, add the oil, seasonings, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Seal the bag and shake it well to evenly coat the potatoes.
- In a large frying pan, cook the sausages over medium-high heat with water until they have browned, and most of the water has evaporated.
- Remove the sausages from the pan and, once they've cooled down a bit, add them to the plastic bag containing the potatoes and seasoning mixture.
- Now, melt the butter in the same frying pan and sauté the onions and garlic until the onions become translucent. Allow this mixture to cool for a few minutes.
- Once it's cooled, add the sautéed onions and garlic to the baggie and give it a good shake to mix everything together.
- To finish, add the green beans to the bag, shake it again to ensure everything is well combined, and then transfer the contents into your prepared baking dish.
- Cover the dish with foil and place it in the preheated oven. Bake for approximately 40 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
- With caution, remove the dish from the oven, and your delicious meal is ready to be enjoyed!
