Old-Fashioned Pancakes

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 Tbsp butter ; melted

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Stir together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a large bowl.

2. Add milk, egg, butter and vanilla extract to dry ingredients.

3. Whisk until a smooth batter forms. Heat a skillet over medium heat.

4. Pour batter into circles, 1/4 cup at a time.

5. Flip once bubbles appear and sides are lightly golden.

*Makes 7-8 large pancakes
