½ cup butter, melted
1 cup white sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup sour cream
½ cup chopped walnuts
2 medium (7″ to 7-7/8″ long) s medium bananas, sliced
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Apply cooking spray in a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, add the sugar and melted butter. Stir until wee mixed.
Step 4: Add the eggs one at a time and beat every addition.
Step 5: Add vanilla and stir until well mixed.
Step 6: In a small mixing bowl, add flour, baking soda, and salt. Whisk until well combined. Transfer the mixture into the butter mixture and whisk until well blended.
Step 7: Add walnuts, sour cream, and bananas. Stir until well combined. Transfer the mixture into the greased baking pan. Spread evenly on the bottom of the pan.
Step 8: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour or until the inserted toothpick in the middle comes out clean.
Step 9: Remove from the oven and let it sit for 10 minutes in the pan. Place on a wire rack to cool at room temperature completely.
