Homestyle Beef and Noodles

Ingredients :

  • 3 lb. Sirloin Stew Meat
  • 3 rbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 Onion, Cut Into Wedges
  • ⅛ cup Steak Sauce
  • 2 tbsp. Butter
  • 2 cups Beef Broth
  • 2 tsp. Garlic, Minced
  • 1 Packet Of French Onion Soup Mix
  • ½ tbsp. Horseradish
  • ½ tbsp. Dijon Mustard
  • 8 Oz. Mushrooms, Sliced
  • 2 tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp. Cold Water
  • 1 Bag Of Egg Noodles
  • Salt And Pepper To Taste

Directions :

  1. Add the oil to a large pot over medium-high heat, and brown the beef in it.
  2. Mix in the onion, broth, steak sauce, butter, beef broth, garlic, french onion soup mix, horseradish, dijon, and salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, reduce the heat, cover and simmer for 1 ½ hour.
  4. Mix together the cornstarch and water in a small bowl. Cook the egg noodles and drain well.
  5. Pour the cornstarch mixture into the pot, along with the mushrooms and egg noodles.
  6. Cover and continue to simmer until the mushrooms have softened.
  7. Enjoy!
