homemade chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients:

2 cups semi-sweet Chocolate Chips

½ cup of Granulated White Sugar

1 cup packed Brown Sugar

1 cup (2 sticks) of Butter

1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

1 tsp. Baking Soda

1 tsp. Corn Starch

2⅓ cups of Flour

2 large Eggs

1 tsp. Salt

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375º F. Combine flour, baking soda, corn starch, and salt in small bowl and whisk together. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs one at a time and beat well. Dump wet mixture into dry mixture and stir by hand with a spoon until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto baking sheet. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown on edges and a little underdone in the middle. Cool on sheet for a few minutes. Let cool completely on wire rack.

I was going for thicc chewy chunky chocolate chip cookies which I didn’t quite get, but they were still really good.
