INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 15 oz canned peaches, drained
  • 2 8 ounce refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 3 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 ½ cups cup sprite or citrus soda
  • vanilla ice cream, for serving

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat Oven and Prepare Baking Dish:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish thoroughly.
  2. Prep the Crescent Roll Dough:
    • Open the cans of crescent roll dough and separate them into individual triangles.
  3. Wrap the Peaches:
    • Place one or two peach halves (depending on size) at the wide end of each dough triangle.
    • Sprinkle a pinch of ground cinnamon over the peach slices.
    • Roll the dough around the peaches, making sure it’s secure.
  4. Arrange the Dumplings:
    • Place each peach-filled dough dumpling in the greased baking dish.
  5. Make the Butter Mixture:
    • In a large bowl, melt the two sticks of butter.
