INGREDIENTS

1 gallon-sized plastic bag
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 packet yeast
1 cup warm water
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 1/2 teaspoons salt

PREPARATION

When ready to bake, grease a loaf pan and preheat oven to 375°F.
In a medium bowl, mix together 1 cup of the flour and the sugar and yeast. Pour into a resealable gallon-sized plastic bag, and add warm water. Seal bag, pressing out air, and shake and mash bag by hand until combined.
Set bag on counter to rest for 10 minutes. When you return, mixture should be bubbly.
In the same bowl used before, mix together 1 cup of flour and salt. Pour into the bag along with the melted butter. Seal bag, pressing out air, and shake bag and mix again.
Open bag and add remaining flour. Close bag and mix until well combined. Remove dough to a floured surface and knead with floured hands for 5-10 minutes.
Place dough in prepared loaf pan and lay a towel over the top. Place in a warm spot in your home and allow dough to rise for 30-45 minutes. Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes. Slice, serve, and enjoy!
